The Developer Sr - Sensitive - is responsible for utilizing information technology to analyze, design, implement and maintain complex components of information systems that support business operations.

 

Essential duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Writes source code, adapts existing components, compiles, links and tests the developed components as units creating test stubs and test data as necessary.
  • Fixes defects identified during unit testing and re-execute unit tests to verify the expected behavior.
  • Translates the business requirements into a further level of detail that describes how to implement the system.
  • Performs project management tasks including planning, estimating, status reporting and scope management.
  • Participates in definition of the requirements of a system including the functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Performs analysis and conceptual design on complex system components and ensures designs are accurately documented and receive the appropriate stakeholder approval.
  • Provides the appropriate support both ongoing and during the integration and acceptance testing phases.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
 
  • BA/BS in computer science or information systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 4 or more years of application development experience required.
  • 3 to 5 years Java Programming experience required.
  • 2 years experience with web based programming in J2EE environment required.
  • Experience in databases (Oracle, JDBC, Database design) required. 
  • Experience with servlets, jsps, jstl
  • Experience in delivering softwarer projects and small enhancements.
  • Excellent analytical, PC and problem solving skills required.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills required.

Helpful experience:

  • Experience with Rational Tools (ClearCase, ClearQuest)
  • Experience in Developing/Supporting Imaging Application, particulary CASE360
  • Experience in Crystal Reports or comparable reporting tool
  • Experience configuring and supporting WEBLOGIC servers
  • Significant experience in delivering software projects and small enhancements.
